Q:
 Hi I'm interested in this trip and plan to take it on 13th Oct with my friend. 1.I'm wondering how long does it take to get to the destination from Boston by bus and where are we going to stay for the night? 2.Can we still take the Maid of the Mist there? Will it be too cold for that? I'm not sure about the temperature in middle October, will it be really freezing? Thanks!

Hi Pollyanna:

It is approximately 8 hours driving time from Boston to Niagara Falls.

However, this driving time is split up throughout the day and there are resting breaks every 2-3 hours on the tour.

The hotel will not be confirmed until we are able to process and confirm your reservation.

However, the hotel is usually located approximately 30-60 minutes from Niagara Falls and most often the Howard Johnson is booked for this tour.

We cannot guarantee that Maid of the Mist will be operational, as it will be towards the end of the season for Maid of the Mist.

However, the last day for Maid of the Mist was October 24th last year.

If you pay online with the booking under one room, you will have to pay in one transaction.

If, however, you select "share room" in the easy book section under lodging, this will allow you to split the payment for the reservation once you get to the payment page of the reservation.

Alternatively, you can select the PayPal payment option, which will allow you to make multiple payments through PayPal.

 I am planning to leave from Boston on the last day at 6.00 A.M. Is this allowed. I have two check in Baggage and one Hand Baggage is it ok.

Hi Dhanasekar:

If you need to depart the tour at 6am on the last day, you will need to self check-out of the hotel and self transfer to the airport on your own, as the airport transfers are only for customers who book flights after 1pm on the last day of the tour.

Each person on tour is allowed one carry on and one stored luggage while on tour.

If you have an extra stored luggage, we will have to check the availability for your tour and there will be an additional charge of $30.00 for the second luggage, per person.

Please leave a note in the comment section of the tour webpage that you will have 2 stored luggage, so we may confirm this with your tour guide.

The pickup time and location for this tour varies, as you can choose between the following times and locations:

7:00am- In front of HSBC Bank, 39-10 main st Flushing NY 11354

8:15am- Chinatown, Manhattan, 48 Bowery St, New York, N.Y. 10013

8:50am- Near IHOP or Wendy's or Shop-Rite, 792 U.S 46, Parsippany, NJ 07054

The approximate return time on the last day of the tour is between 8-9pm, depending on weather and traffic conditions on the day of the tour.

Yes, you can book the tour alone; however, the single rate for this tour is $167.00.
