Q:
I will attend the exchange program at Boston in March 2009. I am Hong Kong citizen. I want to plan a stay behind tour for New York and Washington D.C for about 5 to 6 days. The 6 Day Deluxe New England and Beyond Tour (Boston) (USBS38-714) is particular suitable for me. Some questions of this tour are: 1) How can I book the tour from overseas? 2) How can I settle the payment? by visa or ??? 3) Can I book the tour locally when I have arrived at Boston? It is because I can be more sure about the iternary of the exchange program. 4) How can I know whether the tour would be cancelled or not and what is the last time? As I must order the return flight to Hong Kong? 5) Any guarantee of your company if I pay the fee of the tour but finanlly it is cancelled? Please reply.

Q:
I would be traveling along with my grand daughter who is 12 years old and this is why I like the package deal. My questions is that I would like to stay a little longer in New York City and would it be difficult to arrange that in the package and still get transportation to the airport?

Hi Carla Walls: No problem at all. We can help you arrange hotel extension at the Sheraton EWR hotel, which provides a free shuttle between the Newark (EWR) airport and the hotel. The cost is $169.00 for 2 guests per night. At the end of this trip, our tour coach can drop you and your grand daughter off at the Newark airport. The only thing you need to make sure is that you flight home departs from the Newark (EWR) airport. Thank you for your inquiry. Al Customer Service Rep. www.tours4fun.com

Hi Yosef sinai: It can be possible but as the order of cities covered by the tour may vary throughout the course of the year, it is hard to tell this early that the tour will actually be in the Washington D.C. area on September 12, 2009. We can usually try and reconfirm this information for you 2-3 months prior to the departure date. Thank you for your inquiry. Frank - Customer Service Rep. www.tours4fun.com

Q:
Hi. I'm really interested in this tour but have few questions. 1/ I'm planning on staying at the Latham Hotel (4 East 28th Street); which picking point would be the easier to join for us? is it far (walking? subway?) 2/ during the day (visit time) can we leave the luggage in the bus and only take the handluggage with us? 3/ what is the average price for each meal proposed (breakfast, lunch and dinner)? 4/ in case it is canceled few days before because not enough people attending, is it possible to book another tour instead? Thanks for you answers. Julie (from France)

Hi DUFFAU: The easiest pickup point from the Latham Hotel would be Chinatown. Walking to the pickup location from your hotel would be out of the question, but it is considered relatively near if you were to take the subway. When travelling, you can definitely leave all your luggage in the bus as there is a large storage area under the side of the where all luggage can be left in for most of the day whilst touring around. Average prices for each meal proposed really vary, but $10-$15 per meal is usually the price range you'll be looking at. In the very rare cases that the tour will cancel for whatever reason, we always try and offer replacement / alternative tours for our travellers. Thank you for your inquiry.
