Q: Whwn the tour starts on day 1? At what time? if the location to be picked up is not convenient or can not be met at pick up times where should one go to be a part of this tour? The optional night tour is only available for people who arrive before 5:00 p.m. We suggest customer be there before 3:30 p.m.
If you cannot meet at the airport, then you will have to self transfer to the first night's hotel. There is no sightseeing on day one except for the optional night tour. If you arrive early in the day, you will have a free day.

You will have to come in before 11:00 a.m. for the first day's tour. The tour takes place from the airport to the hotel. The first day's tour is a brief overview of the region stated.
The tour guide will arrange all meals. They will choose meals and locations that are best for the group. You simply pay for your own meals.
We do not quite know what you mean by "alternative than taxis". Please review the question.
You may go off on your own, however; additional meal options may not be available at all times.
There is no dedicated lunch time. The tour guide will arrange the time depending on the schedule for that day.

Q: hi, i already booked a ticket for this tour and i just noticed (from other people questions) that we won't stop at white house but only passing by. is this true?? it's really disappointing. I believe one of the main attraction in DC is to take a picture in front of white house, which is not possible if the bus only passing by. Is it possible for me to pass other sight in DC to take a picture at white house? I read that we will stop at museum national history which is quite nearby (from the map), is it possible if when we stop there i walk to the white house and then return back before the bus leave? Correct, this tour only offers a drive by of the White House. Depending on traffic, the tour bus may be able to stop for passengers to get down and take pictures, but this is only if traffic and security allow it.
Please ask the tour guide if this is possible, as tour itinerary schedule order and time is arranged by the tour guide and bus driver.
