Accessing the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii involves a brief boat ride operated by the U.S. Navy, and the process is generally easy and well-organized.
How You Board the Naval Boat
- The boats are operated by Navy personnel and depart from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.
- It’s a short ride (~15 minutes round trip) across the harbor to the memorial itself.
- You board from a dock at the visitor center, and disembarking happens directly at the memorial platform

1) May I check how much would be the cost to extend 1 night on last day at San Francisco?
2) When will I receive the information about the lodging on first day and will the contact number of tour leader be informed few days before my arrival?
3) My flight will only reach LA at 1955 hrs on first day, any issues with checking in hotel? Will there still be any briefing by the tour leader when I reach the hotel? Can the complimentary airport transfer to hotel be arranged on first day?

1. We can request a quotation from our tour operator for a 1-night hotel extension in San Francisco. During booking, you can add a remark requesting a post-stay. This will allow us to check availability and options with the tour operator for you.
2. The hotel details and the tour guide’s contact information will be shared 2–3 days prior to the start of your tour.
3. There is no complimentary airport pick-up or drop-off for this tour. Guests are expected to arrive at Los Angeles International Airport and make their own way to the hotel.
Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk and identify yourself as a participant of the Splendors of the West Motorcoach Tour.
If you arrive between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, please proceed to the hospitality desk and check in with the Tour Director, who will be available at that time.
4. Here’s a breakdown of what’s not included:
Airfare or transportation between your home and the tour’s starting point
Personal expenses (e.g. hotel room service, individual meals)
