Q: If we don't join the 2 optional tours of Day 2 in San Francisco, where do we wait for the rest of the group and what can we possibly do on our own? And that is about how many hours? The difference between tour code 2-110 and 5-189 is the inclusion of Stanford University. Normally, what is the time we will be in Stanford? By picking the tour with Stanford University, does that reduce our free time? Do you think there is time for us to go to the Saturday anticipated mass on March 31 Saturday or on a Sunday mass on April 1? Also is there a mall near Crown Plaza Union City? How many minutes walk is it from the hotel to the nearest BART station? Thanks

If you do not partake in the optional city tour while in San Francisco, you will be left at Fisherman's Wharf area.
There are many things you can do while in San Francisco at the Fisherman's Wharf.
The approximate time for the optional tour is 2-3 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions on the day of the tour.
The approximate visit to Stanford University is between 1-2 hours and is also dependent on weather, traffic, and timing conditions on the day of the tour.
The itinerary is usually full and there is not usually time for additional sightseeing opportunities. This timing restraint also applies to time for Mass.
It is approximately 3-4 miles to the nearest BART station from Crowne Plaza Union City.

Pickup location for the tour is about q 30-40 minute drive from LAX / Downtown locations.
Taking a taxi would be the best way to travel from the airport to the hotel.
The tour starts out of La Mirada, California which is a city in Los Angeles county.
At the moment, our one way tours to San Francisco from Los Angeles do not offer airport transers, as they normally operate out of San Francisco.

However, our tour guides always try to take the best routes to avoid such areas.
If you have motion sickness, please mention it in the comment section of your online reservation.
We will be able to notify your tour guide of your motion sickness.
When you arrive, please also provide this information to your tour guide. They will try to accommodate your needs while traveling on our tour.
