Grand Concourse

This historic city street in the Bronx is nearly five miles long and lined with residences, parks, shops and historic sites. Visit the Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, where said author lived from 1846 through 1849. The small farmhouse has been fully restored and features some of the celebrated author's personal belongings. The Andrew Freedman Home offers art and entertainment, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts hosts contemporary exhibits covering a broad spectrum of artistic expression.
