Museum of the City of New York

The Manhattan museum contains exhibits focusing on the history, culture and heritage of New York City with more than 750,000 objects. The Museum of the City of New York was established in 1923 in the famous Gracie Mansion and the current Georgian Colonial-Revival design structure along 103rd-104th streets was finished in 1932. Its collection features photographs, prints, paintings, decorative arts, sculptures, costumes, toys and theatrical memorabilia.
