Hi Dieter von Egelstein: Meals are not included except for 1 Lunch which is provided on Day 4 of the tour, where you will be enjoying lunch in Osier, Colorado. All other meals are to be purchased by our guests during the time of the tour. For breakfast, as most of our hotels offer anything from coffee to a full breakfast, you can start the day the way you like best. As most lunch stops, your Tour Director will have information on local restaurants. Dinner time is a change to sample local cuisine. Sometimes your Tour Director will offer an optional dinner outing. At other times, he or she will recommend a restaurant. Years of research have taught us which establishments reliably service a good choice of dishes at down-to-earth prices. As for Day 1 of the tour, airport pick up is not included in the tour price. Since it is a free day, the Tour Director will be waiting for guests to arrive at the hotel on day one. He or she will be available to answer any questions during that day. Hotel information will be provided upon confirmation of your reservation. The tour guide will offer restaurants that have been popular with previous tourists, but will also offer you other options should you ask. You may be offered the choice to eat at a food court, fast food restaurant, or Chinese restaurant. The tour guides will try to stop at locations that offer choices to the passengers. There will be about 3 to 4 stops, including the trip to take our the helicopter ride. The helicopter will not be stopping. It is a 20-30 minute non stop helicopter ride acroos the Grand Canyon.
