Q: is there assurance that maid of the mist will be done in this tour except for reasons of bad weather?can we ship the imax show and instead go to the cave of the winds on our own and meet up with the tour on departure? i'm planning to get the oct 8 tour for my family.

Yes, Maid of the Mist will be operational on October 8th, as long as weather permits.
You have the option to skip the IMAX movie while in Niagara Falls; however, this will not provide enough time to visit Cave of the Winds and return to the bus on time.
Unfortunately, there is no time in this tour itinerary to allow passengers to also join Cave of the Winds while on this tour.

There is no additional charges for the touring on day 2, as the entrances to the areas are complimentary.
The cost of the tour guide and the transportation for day 2 are already included in the cost of the tour.
