Roundtrip transfers are typically available for hotels located in São Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema, and Copacabana. During the excursion, you can expect to explore various areas of the city, and a professional guide will be with you throughout visiting the attractions to provide information, assist you, and coordinate each stop. There is no hiking required. Access to Corcovado Mountain (Christ the Redeemer) is facilitated via a van ride, and from there you will board a cable car or designated transportation depending on the tour’s operation. Rainfall begins to decrease, and conditions are generally more pleasant, but weather in the area can be unpredictable, so we cannot guarantee exact conditions. Light rain or fog may still occur. Regarding the hike, the walk from Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu entrance takes about 1.5–2 hours, so 30 minutes would not be enough if you plan to hike this section. However, since you will be traveling by bus/vehicle, you will arrive directly at the entrance. From the entrance gate to the citadel, the walk is short and manageable. Your guide will be with you at all times, so please feel free to let them know if you need to slow down or take short breaks during the walk—they will be happy to assist you as your guide will also be arranging it for you.
