If guest decide to not participate in the optional tours, they will have the allotted time as "free time".
You may take that opportunity to take pictures, explore the area, etc. The tour guide will provide a meeting time and location.
The maid of the mist, a boat ride that goes near the falls, is one of the optional tours offered that guest of all ages enjoy.
