Q: I am interested in this tour but I wanted to ask how do I get from Travellodge Hotel in the LAX area to one of the major city centers. Will there be an orange bus line that would pick me up from there and than drop me somewhere so that I can continue to another line, and how often do they operate? 2014-08-15 21:05:01 Dear Erin, You must arrange your own transportation from your hotel in order to join this tour at it's pick-up stops. You can get on the Hop on Hop off bus at any of the stops and exchange voucher with a boarding ticket with the driver. How do you connect from one route to another route? The Yellow Route and the Red Route connect at STOP 7 (Mon-Sat: Beverly Hills/W. 3rd St.(behind the Beverly Hills Court House) ; Sunday ONLY: Beverly Hills/Rexford Drive (outside Kelly's Coffee) - between Burton Way and Santa Monica Blvd.) The Red Route, Purple Route and the Universal Connector Service all connect at STOP 1 (The Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd). The Yellow Route and the Green Route connect on different sides of Ocean Blvd. near the Santa Monica Pier at STOP 57 and STOP 81. If you do not wish to have the upgrade, you can keep the standard 3 star hotel quality for the regular price. Tour code # 2-115 already has the Los Angeles Hotel upgrade in the tour price, you are not given the option to select it. The difference between the tours are oftentimes found in their start cities, tour durations, the highlight locations covered, and the quality of hotels booked as part of the package. The itinerary of the cities for each tour is listed on the tour page, however please note that order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start day.
