I have few questions about the trip:
1. What is the departure time from Yosemite national park and when will we arrive San Francisco?
2. By what time do we need to get to the pier 33 on the second day? How much time do we have in Alcatraz Island? Can we leave the island by ourselves if we wanna spend more time on the island?
Dear Sammy,
1. Considering the distance between Yosemite and San Francisco. Usually guests need to leave Yosemite before 3:45pm. There will be a dinner stop on the way back to San Francisco. Guests usually will be dropped at their hotels beween 9:30pm and 10:00pm. But the schedule is subject to daily weather and traffic conditions.
2. Usually we have departure time at 9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am and 10:30am. But departure time is subject to the availability and final confirmation. We will inform you after the booking is confirmed.
The ferry ride from San Francisco to the island takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive on the island, a brief presentation of the island's history and guide to touring the prison is given. An audio tour is provided on entrance of the cell house that gives a recorded commentary from former inmates, prison guards and prison wardens. It takes roughly between 2 and 2 1/2 hours to do the full tour and just enough time to grab a souvenir. The ferry leaves roughly every thirty minutes. You can arrange your own time on the island.

Hi Tour4Fun,
As stated regarding baggages: "Please note that each person is allowed to have one medium suitcase and one carry-on luggage. " Kindly advise the size for the medium suitcase and carry on luggage. Will a sports bag as carry on luggage be acceptable?
Please also advise the following:
1)10D Vancouver Product code 183-19443 earliest availability for year 2016 with pricing.
2) the first 3 rows of the coach is reserved?
3) you have "compulsory tips"? why compulsory and how much are they in US$??
pls. also advise if we encounter "rude" tour guide, what action can we take as customers.
4)) any compulsory tours that we have to pay extra?
Looking forward to your reply.
Regards,
David..28 Oct 15
Dear David Chua,
There's a small storage compartment above the seats on the bus, If your sports bag is over sized, then you will need to put it in the storage compartment with suitcases.
As we haven't received the new schedule at this moment, please come back and check with us in late November or December.
Seats on the first three rows can be reserved with an additional cost.
Service fee is mandatory. Some tours don't request for it as the service fee is included. But for this tour, service fee is not included in the tour package, so you will need to pay to the tour guide after joining the tour.
When you encounter bad service from the tour guide or bus driver, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can help you with the situation. But our tour guides are professionally trained and they are here to provide all the guests a good time.
Please view "Package Includes" and "Package Excludes" in "Pricing" section for detailed pricing information. If there are additional fees for you to pay, we will list them there. There will be hidden fees in the package.
There will also be a mandatory admission fee for 183-19443 according to the pricing information,
Mandatory Admission Fees:
$156.00/Adult
$95.00/Junior(12-15)
$68.00/Child(2-11)
This is for your reference only as the price might be changed in 2016.
