Q: Hi. I'm just wondering what makes this tour more expensive than others with similar destinations. What are the optional tours? Do I have to pay for them in cash and in advance? How about meals and tips, in cash? Can I purchase insurance from you when I book the tour? Thanks!

Because it is an English only tour. Tour guides from some less expensive tours with the similar itinerary will conduct the tour bilingually with both English and Chinese. There are no optional tours to pay for on this tour. All of the sights are included within this tour price. The fuel surcharges range from $5-$10.00 per traveler. For the helicopter rides, the surcharge is usually at only $5.00 per person.

The difference is the Rims you go to. The West Rim is the Skywalk attraction. The South Rim is the Grand Canyon national park.
The West Rim will be more expensive than the South rim as you will have to pay the mandatory admission fees.
Crown Plaza Union city is in Union City. It will be on the mainland to the right of the San Francisco peninsula.

Alcatraz is not included in the itinerary. The tour length may last long and it may end late around 9:00pm, we have no guarantee that you will have enough time to visit Alcatraz. You can opt to visit Alcatraz by yourself and you hold the full responsibility for your own safety. Please ask the tour guide for advice.

The day-to-day itinerary is adjustable and for your chosen departure date, you will be going to Las Vegas first and then San Francisco. So you may not be at San Francisco at Day 3(July 7th)The morning city tour usually ends at around 11:30am at Fisherman’s Wharf depending on traffic and you can have the afternoon free to yourself. Detailed meeting time shall be given by tour guide on tour date. Please consult with tour guide again on day one of the tour about your arrangement.
