You will have the option to sightsee in San Francisco on your own later in the afternoon on day 2, and you can try to purchase the boat ride tickets to Alcatraz on that day, but same day departure tickets are rarely available for the boat ride as it is very popular and is usually sold out days in advance. Q: Hello. I am part of a group that will be traveling from Uganda to the US in August and we would like to do the 5 day East Coast tour. I however have a few questions: 1. Within one to two business days of submitting your reservation you will receive a confirmation email from us. There will be 2 full-size beds equipped in each of our hotel rooms. If you decide to extend your stay in San Francisco, you will need to forgo the visit to Yosemite and you will not be able to join the next tour back to Los Angeles. Thank you very much.
