Cathedral of St. Peter

See the oldest cathedral in Germany located in Trier. The Cathedral of St. Peter was built upon the foundations of Roman buildings and is an important Catholic shrine that is visited by thousands of pilgrims each year. It houses an impressive collection of holy relics, most notably the Holy Robe of Christ, which is believed to be the robe worn by Christ during the Crucifixion, and the Holy Nail, also believed to be one of the nails used during the Crucifixion.
