Trier Amphitheatre

This 2nd-century AD Roman amphitheater is designated as part of the Roman Monuments, Cathedral of St. Peter and Church of Our Lady in Trier UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trier Amphitheater was once the site of gladiator tournaments and animal fights, but today, due to its superb acoustics, is occasionally used for festivals and open-air concerts.
