Canyonlands National Park

This extraordinary 473,773-acre national park in Southeast Utah is separated into the four regions of Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, and the Rivers (Colorado and Green.) Canyonlands National Park was established in 1964 near Moab and is visited by nearly 475,000 people per year. Points of interest are Horseshoe Canyon, The Great Gallery, Mesa Arch, Cataract Canyon and the White Rim Trail. Whitewater rafting, hiking, camping, rock climbing and four-wheel driving are popular park activities.
