Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

This national park in western Colorado is the result of millennia of erosion. The solid granite canyon walls drop 2,700 feet to the Gunnison River. During the summer, this scenic, quiet destination offers great fishing, horseback riding, nature walks and camping. For the more experienced adventurer, rock climbing, rafting and kayaking are also on offer. During the winter, experience the park under the hush of snow while cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
