Lions Gate Bridge

Officially called The First Narrows Bridge, this 5,890-foot suspension bridge that opened in 1938 crosses the first narrows of Burrard Inlet. Lions Gate Bridge is named for nearby mountains and joins Vancouver with North Vancouver city, North Vancouver district and West Vancouver municipalities. It is a National Historic Site of Canada and is featured in the movies "Final Destination 5" and "Tron:Legacy" as well as the Canadian television series "Da Vinci's Inquest."
