Queen Elizabeth Park

The 130-acre alluring park atop "Little Mountain" in Vancouver is comprised of spectacular gardens, green space, public art and the Dancing Waters Fountain. Queen Elizabeth Park's domed Bloedel Conservatory has 500 various exotic blooms and plants with 200 birds including African parrots, Macaws, Chinese pheasants and Finches freely flying about in the tropical wonderland. The public recreation area dedicated in 1939 by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth contains golf courses, tennis courts, quarry gardens, a rose garden, a restaurant and a Painters' Corner.
