The website advertises 5% discounts on first order. When I booked it also advertised 5% early bird discount and we did not get any of these. So feel like falls promise/gimmick to attract customers. You shouldn’t put this if your are not g..oing to live up to it.
Over all your experience was fantastic.Read full review
Although our visit to the Europe countries was during Summer season, most of the hotel accommodation were without air-conditioning especially when the temperature hit above 40 degrees in Paris. This made our stay uncomfortable and brought ..us an unforgettable bad memory.Read full review
Overall, a very good experience. Value for money, good itinerary, fair hotels and fun and caring guides (except for one - Brandon who in my opinion is very cynical and almost condescending).
Brandon was our guide from Frankfurt to Paris ..on July 22-24. He seemed to be always in a hurry and not care. He came across as if he did not want to be there. When I asked him a question, he would be in a hurry and say that's a personal question and would not entertain it at that time. But the question was about our intention of not going with the bus tour at night after the scheduled itinerary because we're going to a friends home for dinner in Amsterdam. He believed this was not a "business" question so he wouldn't answer it then for at that time he was only entertaining business questions. It's not that fact that he's prioritising questions but his way of speaking, it was abrupt and as said earlier, almost condescending. When I asked where was the voted best “French Fries” in Amsterdam - he answered abruptly and curtly, it’s not French fries, we are not in France. Very unfriendly and not “guide -like”.
Brandon was an unpleasant experience considering just the day before we had Lex who was our guide from Zurich to Frankfurt on July 21-22. Lex was excellent, nice, helpful and funny! We had fun just being in the bus for hours (there was an accident in the highway from Titisee to Frankfurt and we were stuck in the highway for 2 hours) because he made sure we were comfortable, informed and yes, even entertained.
Mickey our guide in Paris from July 24-26 was also great. Mickey was helpful, informative and answered all our questions that we had. She made sure we were taken cared of and when the Paris Hotel did not have airconditioning in the middle of the heatwave, she was even able to work with her company Eugogo to treat us to the River Seine Cruise for free to lift our spirits up. This act which may be considered by many as not enough to compensate AC issue, was very much appreciated.
Again, we’re happy overall and would recommend this tour.Read full review
Everything was good, except the Chinese Dragon restaurant was really nasty. The restaurant was completely dirty. I saw dirty silverware, food/drink containers, tables, etc...I was very disappointed about this restaurant. Also, we missed to ..see the Nothre Dam Church in Montreal because our schedule to see it after dinner in the evening, the church already closed.Read full review
The tour as such was good.. however the tour guide was biased towards Asian tourists. They only stopped at Asian restaurants. Our group did not enjoy Asian food, but did not get any option as there was no other restaurants in the vicinity.
..
On the other hand, our group had seniors travelling and would not go for many attractions as they required a lot of walking around. The guide was not appreciative of the fact that the members were old... Infact when we declined to take the attraction tickets from the guide they said " if you can't walk then why have you come for this tour". ... That is very rude and disrespectful.
Other than that the format itself was decent. The driver was great.Read full review
Overall it was a great tour! Lex was a great tour guide! Extremely knowledgeable and openly shared a lot of information with us.
The trip was the most economical way for our family of 7 to see eastern Europe. By then end, everyone was ha..ppy with the trip and learned the places they want to see again and which places they had seen enough of.
The biggest issue i had was, when we went to several of the cities we were simply dropped off in the middle of a shopping center/plaza and told to meet the bus in 2-3 hours. To me, it would have been better drive us around the city, show us the major attractions, have a photo stop or 2, and then give us 60 -90mins of free time for shopping and food.
Some the hotels lacked what i would consider essentials, like a hot water kettle, coffee cups etc. Additionally, most of the hotels were well outside the city center and had only fast food diner dinner options nearby.
None of these things were trip breakers for us, we made do and adjusted as needed.Read full review
Hotel di Montreal troppo distante dal centro. 14 cad per giorno e per persona come mancia obbligatoria sono eccessivi e ingiustificati. No wifi sul bus. Tutto bene per il resto.
