94% 5 days Italy Tour package- Rome, Florence and Venice

I enjoyed this tour as much as I had perceived it in such a short period of time except for the 2 days in Rome which I felt were a bit mis-managed partly, because of the unexpected snow storm in Rome which caused everything in Rome to shut-..down. I would suggest the company to have back-up plans in case such a thing arises- For example - getting a free dinner (depending upon the composition of groups-alcoholic, non-alcoholic, vegetarian or non-vegetarian etc.) or some kind of compensatory activity for the group. Nonetheless, I would like to make a special mention of Mr. Mustafa -our guide who besides being well-versed with the History of Rome (was open-minded,democratic and friendly) as well Florence and Venice had some interesting inputs to create the context before handing us over to the local guides in each of the city, went out of the way and addressed our grievenaces of our 2 days in Rome by coming up with compensatory solutions to the former- by getting the visit to Michael Angelo's Academia ... having the original sculpture of David, as well as by offering Champagne to all the group members.
I also feel that the visit to Trasvere village could be better organised by giving more time to the group to walk around aplore the place besides eating as 1 hour wsn't enough.
Besides, the hotel in Rome could neither provide the basic amenities like complimentary water bottles or even a possibility of paying for the water, the breakfast was hopeless as well as the hotel restaurant opened only at 7 pm in the evening so if someone arrived during the day and wanted to eat after a long journey, they were directed to the nearby mall which was inconvenient for many of us. I would really suggest the company to consider changing the hotel at Rome for their future travelers.Read full review

The best has been the tour co-ordinator Alex who.. was very co-operative and supportive . My mom was handicapped and slow but Alex adjusted the trip so well taking care of her limitations . 100% 9 Days Europe Tour (France,Switzerland and Italy)
By: Anonymous | Mon Feb 12, 2018 at 06.57 PM
Tour was very nice.Well organised tour with good vehicle, Expert drivers and very good guide. The guide has provided all the important information in advance. All the tourist spots were shown properly within time limit.Accommodation was sati..sfactory.However, following suggestions have been made for further improvement.
1) We reached Lucerne in the evening and started in the early morning leading to minimum stay in Switzerland. One more day should be extended in Switzerland by staying at night in Zurich so that extra feeling can be carried forward.
2)The price for the tour should not be displayed in Euros since payment is made in US$ only which creates confusion.Based on your display I purchased only Euro and not dollars in my card. As a result I lost 90 Euros for releasing payment at the last moment in US$ due to exchange rates, bank charges etc.Further, fixed guide charges, entry fees, taxes excluding lunch cost should be included in the price in order to avoid any confusion and to minimise cash transaction.Read full review
Thanks to this tour package, we got to witness wonderful history and many destinations within 9 days (though I’ve booked the 11days) first & last day was free&easy. You really got to visit what’s stated on the itinerary, bus ride from o..ne destination to another was safe & comfortable. Martin the driver was not bad, patience & friendly. There will be pit stops for short break but it’s really really short! Danny, our knowledgeable tour guide always reminds us about our belongings & safety. NOW! Here’s the ugly part of the tour package. It’s super rush! Every place you only got 2-3 hours unless the ones with guided tour (about 4 hours) For some places, although tour guide promised to have a couple of hours, end up is an hour! So be prepared for even more short duration of exploring the places if the weather is sucks for the time you visit. Thankfully, the weather throughout the trip for us from 13dec to 21dec were perfect! No bad weather or accidents along highways. Hotel (accommodation) for Switzerland, Italy were better standards compared to the stay in France. Breakfast every morning was boring, but that’s the standard. Other than that, it was a pleasant trip and easier to get a grip of everything in a short period of time. Thank you.Read full review
The Europe tour covered a lot and well. What should have been done though is not to club the Colloseum and Sistine Chapel the same day. Even the young in the group were exhausted, leave alone the elderly like us. Places like the La Louvre s..hould be assigned a whole day because there is a lot to see instead of jogging through the corridors and pas displays.
Our Tour Manager, Mr Krisztian Kondor was a fantastic person. Thoroughly professional but absolutelu humane at the same time. He took a lot on his shoulders and never lost his cool despite irritating co-travellers (two young women) who vanished unannounced at times and Krisztian had to hunt them out and bring them back to the coach.
The driver Richard from Amsterdam was another amazing human being and a great person to spend some time with.
In all, it was a memorable experience for both me and my wife, and we look forward to similar but hopefully well-spaced tours with Tours4Fun in future.Read full review
We took this nine day tour through France, Switzerland and Italy ....It was great value for money and our tour manager Mr Krisztian Kondor was truly amazing ..He was firm, friendly, helpful and very courteous! The hotel rooms were very good.. and on most of the days , the breakfast buffet was excellent! The only problem was clubbing the tours of the Colloseum and Vatican City into one single day which proved to be too much for even the young and the strong in the group....Vatican City should be a full day tour. It was so rushed that we could not enjoy the beauty of Sistine Chapel or even St Paul's Cathedral. Other than this, it was a great tour and we will certainly come back for more such tours if we get a chance.Read full review

Even in November , this was a fantastic experience. The tour guide and driver were both exceptional. It was amazing how much we saw in a short time. We were always told about the places we were visiting, including how to avoid scams. A few ..times we had local guides which were exceptional, especially in Rome. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.Read full review
