Q: Hi, I would like to go to 2day niagara falls tour. I see the maid of mist is an option but the cave of wind is not. Can I do cave of wind activity on my own? Also, do I have time to go to goat's island? Do I must follow your schedule or can I have my own activities when I get there and meet the guide on scheduled time? I really want to go to goat island and cave of wind. It is really far and I really want to experiance those activities. Please advise. Thank you.

2009-08-03 17:02:02 Hi Jule: We cannot guarantee that you can find the time to take the cave of the winds tour or to visit goat's island for this tour, but you can surely request that of the tour guide on the tour's first day. The tour is set up and arranged to follow a set itinerary with fully guided tours provided by the tour guide and setting up your own schedule for the tour is not recommended. If you don't want to visit Universities, you might leave the bus have have free time by yourself, but you might need to make your own way to catch the bus later. Q: Hi, I'm very interested in booking this tour, but I have some questions.. What's the difference between this tour and the USLA2-110 (also a 3 day San Francisco and Yosemite Tour)? I understand that meals are not included in this tour, but do you pick out the restaurants, or can we eat where we want? And is there a possibility to buy cheaper tickets for the Hearst Castle in advance, or online? In San Francisco, do we have a free afternoon, or does the bus take us to each of the places mentioned here in the tour details? If I want to book for September 12 or 16, can I wait until Sept 1st, or will this be too late? 2009-08-02 17:56:57 Hi Kay: Thank you for your inquiry. The difference is itinerary on Day 2, the tour USLA5-189 will go to Union city, on Day 1 and Day2 with better hotel standard. The tour guide will bring customer to food court or other places with restaurants. You might choose what you want to have. The Hearst Castle cost $24 per person, it is an optional tour, please pay to tour guide when boarding. There is no free time for both tours, the bus will go to the places which our website shows. We suggest customer to make reservation at least 30 days earlier to secure the seats. On Day 3, the bus will go to Yosemite Park in early morning, and return to LA after lunch. You have the option to walk across the Rainbow Bridge to take in sights of the Niagara Falls from the Canadian side (proper visa or passport documents are required). However, you can also choose to stay at the US side. Maid of the Mist in winter will not be available starting end of Oct. Visitors can continue sightseeing without getting into the water or at the IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls (optional). On most of the days, there will be about 25 to 50 travelers on the bus. At least 50% would be Chinese/Asian, the rest will be quite mixed between Spanish, English, Canadian, Caucasion, African-American, and etc. From NY to PA is about 2 hours. From PA to Washington D.C. is about another 2 hours. From D.C. to the Niagara Falls is the furthest, which is about 7 to 8 hours. On your way back from Niagara Falls to New York is about 7 hours. The tour guide will most likely give you just 30-minute to pick-up something fast to eat at a food court where there are various fast food restaurants. The bus should give all customer a 30-minute break off the bus every 2 to 3 hours. The coach bus has 1 lavatory and has air-conditioning.
