Q: Hi can we meet up with the group at the hotel at the end of Day 1 in SF as we will be flying in? Which airport is closer to the hotel? Do we still have to pay for the admission fee to the Castle, which we will skip? Cheers

Please note that order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start day. If you join the tour on the night of Day 1, you could miss Yosemite National Park instead of Solvang and Hearst Castle. If you still wish to join this tour at the hotel, we can confirm the hotel information to you 2-3 days before tour departure. As hotel information is not able to be confirmed at this moment, we cannot recommend which airport for you to fly into yet.
If you do not want to visit the Hearst Castle, you do not need to pay the optional tour fees.

The optional tour tickets are available on tour, provided to you by the tour guide. You will purchase group tickets from the tour guide, so that you will not need to wait in line to purchase tickets and visit the attraction.
We recommend that you book this tour as soon as your travel plans are set, to avoid tour and hotel sell out.

You can choose to opt out of the tour. Please advise the tour guide that you will be opting out in Washington and will not continue the rest of the trip. Please note that the day to day itinerary can change if departing on monday or wednesday.

You will have to find your own accommodations if you wish to find your own food. You may talk with the tour guide, however; other food options may not be available and you will have to return to the group on time.
The tour generally stops at a fast food or food court choice. If there is enough time the guide will take the tourists to a restaurant he/she feels is best for the group.
