Hi can we meet up with the group at the hotel at the end of Day 1 in SF as we will be flying in? Which airport is closer to the hotel? Do we still have to pay for the admission fee to the Castle, which we will skip? Cheers
Please note that order of day-to-day itinerary is adjustable depending on tour start day. If you join the tour on the night of Day 1, you could miss Yosemite National Park instead of Solvang and Hearst Castle. If you still wish to join this tour at the hotel, we can confirm the hotel information to you 2-3 days before tour departure. As hotel information is not able to be confirmed at this moment, we cannot recommend which airport for you to fly into yet.
If you do not want to visit the Hearst Castle, you do not need to pay the optional tour fees.
We can recommend the following tours for you, that start in San Francisco:
I wonder how can i get all sorts of optional tickets during the tour? i don't want to waste time to get tickets in the long line at the every attraction. does a tour guider get the all passengers tickets or do ourselves?
And, i want to take a trip at 19/07/2011 with my family, 2 adult and 2 daughters. until when will i book this tour?
thank you, i hope to see you soon~
The optional tour tickets are available on tour, provided to you by the tour guide. You will purchase group tickets from the tour guide, so that you will not need to wait in line to purchase tickets and visit the attraction.
We recommend that you book this tour as soon as your travel plans are set, to avoid tour and hotel sell out.

Also, I know it says the entire tour is 2.5 hours long. However, how long is the "movie star home" portion of the tour itself? (out of the 2.5 hours).
I know it says: See your favorite celebrity mansions. Continue through the exclusive residential area and see your favorite celebrity mansions including Michael Jackson, Elvis, Tom Cruise, Cristina Aguilera, Dr.Phill, the Beckhams, Jackie Chan, Lucille Ball, and many more. Continue to Rodeo Drive.
Just wanted to make sure when they say many more celebrities, how many homes is that? I am just worried because the reason of me doing this tour is wanting to see the movie star homes. That's where I am hoping most the time will be spent?
In regards to the 2.5 hours long tour; 45 minute-1 hour of that tour will be dedicated to view stars homes as this will depend on traffic and weather conditions that day. In regards to the exact number of home seen; this number will vary as some location may be closed off on certain days however generally speaking if we can travel and visit all the locations with no incident we will be able to view 40 locations.

Is this an open top bus tour like the other companies offer? or is this just a regular bus? Can I purchase tickets at Hollywood & Vine or is it REQUIRED to purchase tickets online?
Hi
I would like to join the tour on 28MAY11. I want to stay back in D.C., after completing the day trip there. I meant, complete the tour there itself. Is it possible OR I should get down only at New York.
Thanks

For museums, you will have an hour and for other stops 10 to 20 minutes. Photos may be taken at the locations you will stop at. Please read the information below regarding the tour’s itinerary:
We start off our tour in New York City by heading to Ground Zero, site of the tragic event of September 11th, to pay our respects and to witness the massive rebuilding efforts. From there we head to Wall Street at the heart of the financial district, home to America's wealth and business interests.
The tour then proceeds to a Waterway cruise of the New York City harbor, where you can view the city's magnificent skyline and sights, including the busy South Street Seaport, the Statute of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge from the Hudson and East River. An entertaining and informative tour guide will provide interesting narratives about all of the sights that make this city special. We will visit Rockefeller Center, NBC Studios, and the surrounding shopping district along Fifth Avenue, where cutting edge fashion and luxury brands reside. No tour of New York City would complete without a tour atop the Empire State Building, where on the 86th floor, 1,050 feet above the city's bustling streets, the Observatory offers panoramic views from within a glass enclosed pavilion.
The tour continues to the bright lights of Time Square and the Broadway Theatre District, where there is an opportunity to see celebrities up close and personal at Madame Tussaud's (optional).
Finally, we will visit the United Nations, a gathering place for 192 countries to meet and discuss important issues of the world such as peace and human rights. Since its creation in October 1945, the United Nations officially has performed crucial peacekeeping work with prominent members such as China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States. The tour then concludes in Chinatown at about 6:00pm.
You will have to find your own accommodations if you wish to find your own food. You may talk with the tour guide, however; other food options may not be available and you will have to return to the group on time.
The tour generally stops at a fast food or food court choice. If there is enough time the guide will take the tourists to a restaurant he/she feels is best for the group.
