Q: Hi there, may i know whether we need to bring along Canadian $ for the trip? Is USD accepted at the attractions, eateries and shopping area? If yes, will we suffer an exchange loss by paying with USD instead od Canadian $?

You are welcome to bring CAD with you for this trip. The stores will accept USD and CAD and if not, the tour guide will be able to assist you with CAD currency if you should not have it available with you. Please note that the currency exchange rate offered to you on tour may be a bit on the high end, as they are providing a convenience or service for you by accepting USD or having CAD on hand for you. For currency exchanges, there is always a fee whether you go to a bank to pre-purchase CAD for cash on hand or if you use your credit card at stores.

You are welcome to confirm this information with the tour guide upon boarding the tour coach bus and en route, for up to the minute details based upon traffic conditions. Q: I was wondering if it was possible for my partner and I to stay behind from the tour group at the Smithsonian (Washington D.C) as I have read with most tours the stop is not quite long enough and then to meet up later at the hotel. Would there be a problem with check-in at the hotel? Also, approx. how far would the hotel be from the city center? Additionally, We are probably going to be in NYC 2 days before the tour. Is there pick-ups from other hotels? Is it possible for us to stay at the hotel that will be chsen for the 1st night of the tour so we don't have to check out then check back in? 2011-08-07 05:34:14 Hi Adi:It is not recommended that you leave the tour group from midway as the hotel is located in the suburb and quite distant from the city center. We advise that you can please book your own hotel extension prior to the tour as the first night hotel is near EWR airport which may not be convenient enough if you would like to explore the city on your own.

(we havent choose yet) If we arrive 5-21 pm and we dont need aiport transfer, can we contact the tour guide somehow and make a reservation for a NY night tour? Or it's better for us to choose 1-49am arrival, cz there are better chances for us to get to a night tour?
