Hi Jessica:

You will stay in Yosemite approximately 1-2 hours.

You can make the reservation at least 3 days in advance, but we do suggest you make it when your travel dates are set as our tour do sell out fast.

Both tours offer seeing the same locations, the difference is the this tour offers complimentary audio tours for different languages.

This tour is a very popular tour; it does depart daily.

Q:
Hi there, we are thinking about 8-Day East Coast: US and Canada w/Airport Transfers. We understand that meals are excluded and that we "have the option to pay for meals that tour guide arranges." How much approx. would that be per day? or Can he/she arrange meals for the entire tour? If yes, How much would that be? Also, we want the January 5th tour and were wondering if Thousand Islands and Quebec are going to be part of the tour or are they going to be excluded due to weather conditions? Thank you! ;-)

Hi Vicma:

Our tour guides will arrange meal breaks 3 times a day. Guests should prepare $20 USD to $30 USD for three meals per person per day.

They will be closed in January due to the weather, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi Wayne:

For Las Vegas Grand Canyon tours, we offer pickup and drop-off service at most major hotels on the strip, between the Stratosphere and Mandalay Bay. We also offer pickup service for these tours in the Downtown Las Vegas area.

If we do not offer pickup service at your hotel location, it is likely we offer pickup service at a nearby location.

Please note your hotel location in the comment section of your online reservation and we will confirmthe closest pickup location and time while processing your order.

If you are joining a tour that departs the South Rim, we do not currently offer pickup service in that area, as the airport is usually within 10 minutes driving time. We recommend using a taxi service, which is offered 24 hours a day in the area.

Hi Aidan:

Temperatures vary by season and have been changing rapidly in recent years.

However, below are the general temperatures for both the Grand Canyon National park (South Rim) and the Grand Canyon West Rim based on season:

Grand Canyon National Park- South Rim

The temperature varies in the Summer between 68-100 degrees Fahrenheit (20-38 degrees Celsius) and in the Winter it is between 50-59 degrees Fahrenheit (10-15 degrees Celsius).

Grand Canyon West Rim:

The temperature varies in the Summer between 95-107.6 degrees Fahrenheit (35-42 degrees Celsius) and in the Winter it is between 55-59 degrees Fahrenheit (13-15 degrees Celsius).

***The difference in the range of temperature varies depending on how close you are to the rim. As you get closer to the inner gorge of the Grand Canyon, the temperature will begin to drop.

Q:
What do I need to bring with me while on tour?

Hi Jane:

All passengers must have a government issued valid photo identification card, such as a state driver’s license, or a passport for check-in service at the airport.

We highly recommend all passengers bring or purchase a bottle of water to bring with them while on tour. Most people that are not used to the desert region will need additional water, as the weather is drier than most are used to.

Q:
Am I able to fly to the Grand Canyon without joining one of your tours?
QnA

Hi Jeccy:

Most people that visit the Grand Canyon fly into either McCarren airport in Las Vegas or to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. However, both of these airports are more than 200 miles away from the Grand Canyon.

There is a Grand Canyon National Park airport; however, it is usually utilized only by tour companies that provide Grand Canyon air tours (such as ours) or by private aircraft.

The only way to fly to this airport is to join a tour similar to the ones we offer or purchase a private flight to the Grand Canyon National Park airport.

Thank you for your inquiry.
