Q: Am I able to fly to the Grand Canyon without joining one of your tours?

Most people that visit the Grand Canyon fly into either McCarren airport in Las Vegas or to the Phoenix
Sky Harbor Airport. However, both of these airports are more than 200 miles away from the Grand
Canyon.
There is a Grand Canyon National Park airport; however, it is usually utilized only by tour companies that
provide Grand Canyon air tours (such as ours) or by private aircraft.
The only way to fly to this airport is to join a tour similar to the ones we offer or purchase a private flight
to the Grand Canyon National Park airport.

There are only slight differences between the 2 tours.The itinerary is slightly different and some locations on tour are altered between the tours.
However, you are correct that all major attractions are the same.
The main difference and reason for the price difference is the hotels used on the tours.
Tour 2-110 offers hotel accommodation usually in the Crowne Plaza, Union City, which is a 3-3.5 star hotel.
Tour 5-189 offers hotel accommodation at the Hilton or similar, which is a 4 star hotel.

Yes, this tour only offers one pickup location in Gaithersburg at this time.
There are many hotel locations in the area of Gaithersburg.However, since we are not affiliated with these hotels, we are not able to recommend a 3 star hotel nearby.

The normal days this tour are available last year were:
Monday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday

Unfortunately, we are not able to confirm the itinerary for March for this tour, as it varies based on each year's weather conditions.However, usually in March, this tour will not visit either location, as they are usually not available yearly until the end of April or the beginning of May.
If you prefer to visit these 2 locations, we recommend taking the tour after April 2013.
We do not currently assist with visa or passport requirements; however, you can find more information in regards to visa requirements to enter Canada at the following link:

If you drive a car to the pickup location, you will need to arrange your own transfer back to the hotel at the end of your tour.
