For Las Vegas Grand Canyon tours, we offer pickup and drop-off service at most major hotels on the strip, between the Stratosphere and Mandalay Bay. We also offer pickup service for these tours in the Downtown Las Vegas area.
If we do not offer pickup service at your hotel location, it is likely we offer pickup service at a nearby location.
Please note your hotel location in the comment section of your online reservation and we will confirm the closest pickup location and time while processing your order.
If you are joining a tour that departs the South Rim, we do not currently offer pickup service in that area, as the airport is usually within 10 minutes driving time. We recommend using a taxi service, which is offered 24 hours a day in the area.
The Grand Canyon offers may activities to guests that range from hiking trails and horseback riding to the IMAX movie theater Grand Canyon experience. The Grand Canyon even offers rafting and boat rides.
Please dress casually and comfortably. We highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes, which are appropriate for walking. Although the tours are not strenuous, not all walkways are paved. Please avoid wearing shoes that have slick bottoms, such as dress shoes. Tennis shoes, hiking boots, or sports type footwear is best.
Please keep in mind that the South Rim is approximately 20 degrees cooler than Las Vegas; whereas, the West Rim is slightly warmer than Las Vegas.
Summer months:
We recommend wearing a hat and/or sunglasses, as it tends to be hot and bright in the desert sun.
Winter months:
We recommend bringing a jacket or rain poncho. Many customers also bring gloves or a scarf when during the colder months.
Temperatures vary by season and have been changing rapidly in recent years.
However, below are the general temperatures for both the Grand Canyon National park (South Rim) and the Grand Canyon West Rim based on season:
Grand Canyon National Park- South Rim
The temperature varies in the Summer between 68-100 degrees Fahrenheit (20-38 degrees Celsius) and in the Winter it is between 50-59 degrees Fahrenheit (10-15 degrees Celsius).
Grand Canyon West Rim:
The temperature varies in the Summer between 95-107.6 degrees Fahrenheit (35-42 degrees Celsius) and in the Winter it is between 55-59 degrees Fahrenheit (13-15 degrees Celsius).
***The difference in the range of temperature varies depending on how close you are to the rim. As you get closer to the inner gorge of the Grand Canyon, the temperature will begin to drop.
If you want weather information about a specific date, please check the following weather website for detailed information:
All passengers must have a government issued valid photo identification card, such as a state driver’s license, or a passport for check-in service at the airport.
We highly recommend all passengers bring or purchase a bottle of water to bring with them while on tour. Most people that are not used to the desert region will need additional water, as the weather is drier than most are used to.
At this time, we do not currently offer any overnight tours. However, we do offer many tours with sunset views that offer an evening/night view of the area:
Your reply in some Q&A indicates that an e-ticket is valid and can be used, but in some other Q&A the reply shows e-ticket cannot be used, must use real ticket. If an e-ticket can be used, then it saves a trip to pick up. I plan to order Disneyland tickets and Universal Studios tickets for 1/6 and 1/7/2013.
I plan to go to Disneyland either on 1/5/2013 or 1/6/2013. Is the ticket have to be used on a specific date or can be any date within the validity range?
However, you can still view and visit the Lincoln Memorial if you prefer while on this tour.
Please review the following itinerary information:
Also you will see the FBI Building, Federal Triangle Ellipse, Tidal Basin, National Archives, Washington Monument, House and Senate Office Buildings, U.S. Botanical Gardens, National Gallery of Art, U.S. Navy and Grant Memorials.
The Washington Monument is located directly across from the National Mall, which is where the Lincoln Memorial is located.
If you prefer to visit Lincoln Memorial while the group is at the Washington Monument, you can let your tour guide know and they will let you know a return time to the bus.
Thank you for your inquiry.

I plan to join this tour. I would like to know more about the San Francisco In-Depth Sightseeing Tour. Which are the places that would be covered. I am also interested in visiting Beverly hills and movie star homes along with the above mentioned places. In that case which tour should I choose. Please advise
Regards,
Jessy
The in-depth sightseeing tour itinerary is subject to change, based on weather, traffic and timing issues.
However, the places usually covered include the following:
St. Mary's Cathedral, Alamo Square, Twin Peaks, Civic Center, and Castrol District.
However, this tour will not includ the Beverly Hills or Hollywood areas.
If you plan to cover the LA and surrounding areas, we recommend extending your stay for one day after the tour.
We recommend the following hotel extension near LAX, as if offers free shuttle service to and from LAX, as well as, is a pickup location for our LA area tours:
