You do not have to take the optional tours listed, but you are highly recommended to because the optional tours are usually selected attractions or places of interest which you should not miss in order to have a more enjoyable travel experience. Usually this tour will return to New York at approximately 4:00-5:00PM depending on current traffic and weather conditions.
