Q: hi there, i just want to know about the liberty cruise optional tour. i'm taking this tour and the liberty cruise is optional. is it also going to ellis island and the museums also? what about the pedestal and crown of the liberty statue? if they are not included in the optional tour,is it possible for me to buy the tickets online because the crown must be booked in advance if i'm not mistaken. thank you View answers (1) A: |
2015-04-08 16:51:59 Dear Karen, The Liberty Cruise will allow you to see the Statue of Liberty from the river, but will not stop at Liberty or Ellis Islands. Note that taking the ferry to the Statue of Liberty will take a good amount of time, and will result in your missing out on most of the sightseeing of NYC included in the tour's itinerary, and any requests to sightsee indepedent of the group cannot be guaranteed, and will be best coordinated with the tour guide during the tour.
