Most people that visit the Grand Canyon fly into either McCarran airport in Las Vegas or to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. However, both of these airports are more than 200 miles away from the Grand Canyon.
There is a Grand Canyon National Park airport; however, it is usually utilized only by tour companies that provide Grand Canyon air tours (such as ours) or by private aircraft.
The only way to fly to this airport is to join a tour similar to the ones we offer or purchase a private flight to the Grand Canyon National Park airport.

Hi, I am trying to design my trip to suit this package. My idea is to take bus from AZ to LA on 24th afternoon.
I will be in LA on 24th night, I will check in Holiday Inn hotel (on my own expense not included in package).
I will really appreciate if you can favor me with following -
1. Pick up from Metro station on 24th (Metro Station, 1231 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012)
2. Drop on 30th to same place.
3. For all days from 25th to 29th, I will need a separate hotel bill (not as part of package).
If needed i will call you tomorrow and we can sort it out on phone.
Really appreciate if you can accommodate these.
Unfortunately we would not be able to accommodate your requests.
The tours that we offer will only pick-up customers from designated locations or the airport.
We cannot make a separate bill for the hotel because the price of the tour package is inclusive for hotel accommodations and bus transportation.
We would not be able to offer you the tour price because the hotel accommodations are made as group bookings to receive better pricing and be able to pass on those savings to our customers.
The tour you have chosen starts in San Francisco, not in Los Angeles.
For similar tours that start in Los Angeles, please refer to the following links:
I was about to book a tour and noticed that the luggage size is smaller than we are taking on holiday. Will this be a problem? This tour will only be a part of an extended holiday and we need larger bags.(65cm bags)
Please leave a note in the comment section of your online reservation that you plan on bringing larger luggage while on tour and we will confirm this with your tour guide for you.
Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi, I am planning on joining the tour on 30 Jan 2013 with my family members and all of us currently hold Indonesian Passport. However, I also hold a Swiss B Permit with me. We plan to fly from Geneva to Paris to join the tour. Therefore, Is it still possible for my family members to join the tour if they only apply for single-entry Swiss tourist visa? Since the tour will also visit Switzerland, means that they will enter Switzerland, leave Switzerland for Paris then enter Swiss again as part of the tour (multiple entry).
Unfortunately, this tour is not yet updated with pricing or availability for 2013.
However, this tour usually starts in early May each year.
The start date of the tour is based on weather forecasts of when spring will begin and large motor coaches will be able to pass through the areas on this tour.
If it warms enough by April, this tour may be offered.
This tour should be updated by January with availability.
Please click the following link if you would like to be notified when this tour is available online:
What if i will come via bus from Arizona instead of flight, will pick up and drop be included in package?
i will need a bill for hotel expense (hotel fare and tax)? is it possible.
We would like to take this type of train trip, but am concerned about moving luggage so often. Do you take care to do this on and off each of the trains and moving to each of the hotels? Thank you.
Unfortunately, this tour does not offer guide assistance with luggage, as this is a self-guided tour by Monograms.
This tour is self guided; however, you will meet with the tour director on the first day of the tour to answer any questions you may have and to provide you with any necessary documents, maps, etc.
However, throughout the tour and moving of trains, you will be on your own during the transfers.
Many times, there are assistants aboard the train that may help you with your luggage; however, this is not guaranteed.
Monograms branded tours are more self-guided.
If you are interested in joining a tour that offers tour guide assistance throughout, we recommend a Globus tour, which is operated by the same company:
