Q: I'm thinking of arriving in SLC by AMTRAK. The train would arrive the previous evening (11:00pm at the earliest) so is it possible to book a night in the same hotel as used on Day 1 of the trip?

If you should arrive after 11:30AM, please select the quote required for more people. Typically it will be $65.00 for the first person, and an additional $10.00 per person thereafter. 2009-01-27 12:34:50 Hi Helle: We will ensure that when you book both these tours, pickups from the Comfort Suites in Rosemead will be arranged and we will make the transitions between both tours as smooth as possible. Airport pickup will be arranged for your arrival on July 14, and you will be checked in to the Comfort Suites in Rosemead. You'll be picked up from your hotel the next day (July 15), for the 7-Day Yellowstone Tour ending on July 21. Stay at the Comfort Suites the night of July 21, and then travel around on July 22 starting your 9 Day tour (tour code: USLA2-300). For the last night of your 9 day tour, we can book you at the Ramada Plaza LAX which offers a free shuttle service to and from the LAX airport. When booking the tours, please book USLA2-121 for July 15, 2009 and book USLA2-300 for July 21, 2009. For the first booking, please enter special booking notes that you want to have an extension or booking at the Comfort Suites for the night of July 14, 2009. For the second booking please indicate that you need a hotel extension for July 29 at the Ramada Plaza LAX. 2009-01-26 17:46:57 Hi Helle: Both of the tours can definitely be done where an upgrade for the Los Angeles hotels will be booked for the Comfort suites in Rosemead with a doubleroom, non-smoking. What we suggest is that you book the tour USLA2-121 for July 15 but you have to arrive in on July 14 to take advantage of the airport pickup and the hotel stay arranged before the tour departure on July 15. After the 7 Day tour, you can then book the 9 Day tour with tour code: USLA2-300 for July 21. The additional payable amounts aside from the tour package prices will be for a hotel extension for the night before the 7 day tour. The charge for the hotel extension would only be $96.00 for the one extra night and the booking would be for the Comfort Suites in Rosemead. 2009-01-22 10:06:56 Hi Michelle grootenboer: If you can provide us with the date you want to travel for, we can check to see if there are other travellers willing to share and wanting to book the tour for the same date. If we're able to find someone, we can try to lower the rates but we won't be able to get the rate down as low as a double as the room share will not be for every night of the tour. If we're unable to find someone willing to share, you would have to book at single prices to reserve space on the tour but we will keep looking to lower rates by finding a co-share traveller. During winter months and early Spring, it's only open for the snowcoaches and snowmobiles.
