West Point Military Academy

The United States' oldest military academy founded in 1802 in West Point, NY had famous graduates like American presidents Ulysses S. Grant and Dwight D. Eisenhower along with famous generals Robert E. Lee, George Armstrong Custer, John J. Pershing, Omar Bradley, Douglas MacArther, George Patton and David Petraeus. West Point's 16,080-acre campus overlooking the Hudson River has a museum, visitor's center, military academy, preparatory center, cemetery, sports complexes, and monuments. The U.S. National Historic Landmark's Corps of Cadets has 4,400 members.
