Built in honor to one of the greatest painters of his time, the Van Gogh Museum is dedicated to the memory of Vincent Van Gogh, featuring exhibits on his life and stories about him as well as the highlights of the museum, a stunning collection of his artwork. The museum is open daily from 9am to 5pm and Fridays until 10 pm, those during seasons the hours are extended. The museum is located at Museumplein 6, 1071 DJ Amsterdam, and is accessible from Amsterdam Central Station's tram 2 and 5 (Stop Van Baerlestraat).
