Purdue University

Founded in 1869 as the flagship university of Indiana, Purdue University offers undergraduate degrees in 200 majors, 70 master's programs, 18 intercollegiate sports teams, and more than 900 student organizations. Situated on the banks of the Wabash River, the campus is composed of the Purdue Mall, Memorial Mall, South Campus, and West Campus that hosts the second largest student body in Indiana. It has famously hosted 23 astronauts as students, including Neil Armstrong, and established the Purdue OWL writing style, a widely accepted academic reference for professional writing.
