Memphis Rock N' Soul Museum

This music museum located on the legendary Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee informs visitors about the beginnings of rock and soul music through many interactive exhibits. The Rock N' Soul Museum was started by the Smithsonian Institution in 2000 to mark the organization's 150th Anniversary. It moved in 2004 from the Gibson Building to the FedEx Forum. The museum features 30-plus instruments, 40 costumes, more than 100 songs, three audio visual programs and many more music relics in seven galleries!
