John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum

This cultural institution devoted to the United States' 35th president in his native Boston has documents from his administration, family photos, campaign materials, art, audiovisual presentations and artifacts in addition to an Ernest Hemingway collection. The latter stems from President Kennedy lifting a ban on Cuban travel so Hemingway's widow could retrieve her husband's belongings. Dedicated by U.S. President Jimmy Carter in 1979, John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum designed by architect I.M. Pei is located in the Dorchester section of Boston overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
