Hancock Park

The upscale Los Angeles neighborhood is full of architecture from the 1910s, 1920s and 1930s with many of its residents being wealthy celebrities, doctors, attorneys or entertainment industry executives. George Allen Hancock developed the area in the 1920s and the spacious two-story houses were constructed in various Revival styles. Famous people who live in or have resided in Hancock Park include filmmaker Howard Hughes, boxers Muhammad Ali and Manny Pacquiao, singer Nat King Cole as well as actors John Barrymore, Jason Alexander, David Schwimmer, Sean Hayes, Kathy Bates, Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, Patricia Heaton and Patricia Arquette.
