I'm planning a trip through Italy in May and June. I'm semi-retired and I love Europe. I'm from the east coast of America and recently returned from a sailing trip in Croatia and Greece. I'm a non-smoker, healthy, active, and have no baggage or hangups. I plan to travel by train starting in Bari Italy and working my way south to Palermo, Sicilia before heading north to Naples, Rome, and Florence. I plan to use BnBs and hotels and expect to cover much of the cost.

Looking for travel/hiking buddy, AND/OR rideshare partners to pitch in for gas. I am planning this trip for August 2023. Exact dates are TBD, we can plan together! Places I would like to stop at along the way (feel free to make suggestions!): Bear Glacier Park (BC) Hiking around Haines Junction (Yukon) (specifically, Auriol Trail or Saint Elias Lake trail or both!) Hiking around Tombstone Park (Yukon) (specifically, Goldensides Mountain) Have not yet fleshed out the Alaska side of the trip, other than knowing that I will loop around at Denali through Fairbanks and then through Anchorage on the way back. I would love to visit Skagway on the return trip, but it is quite out of the way, so will have to think about it a bit longer... -About me- I am fun and sociable, not very serious (great sense of humor!), well travelled, fluent in English, Persian and Spanish. I LOVE nature/scenic drives, animals, and I like to stop frequently to take photos of beautiful scenery along my drives. I have been off social media (no insta, no facebook, no twitter etc etc) for almost 10 years now and I love it! If serious, DM me your whatsapp so we can get to know each other! I have a 2007 Corolla in great condition, will be getting tires/oil change before my trip! -What I'm looking for- My preference is for female, but am okay with respectful and mature males. If you're a chatterbox, cool! I love to listen and sometimes get chatty myself! If you're quiet, reserved, not very talkative, that's cool too because silences are not awkward for me! As long as you are friendly. I would ask that you pitch in what you can for gas (by my calculations it will be minimum $700 CAD that we can split), and pay for your own food/supplies/lodging. We can sort out lodging arrangements together (camping, hotel etc). My preference is for camping. If you do not have a tent I can bring an extra for you. If you're just looking to rideshare anywhere along my route, that's cool too - msg me and I can share the details of my route (I will be going north along the Cassiar route up to Tombstone).
