Train travel to Sicily0 CommentsPosted by: Diane on Fri Nov 29, 2013 at 05.14 AM Add CommentWhen the train arrives at Villas San Giovanni, the train actually gets loaded onto a ferry, you can stay in the train, or go to the top deck of the Ferry as it travels across the Strait of Messina. THe Ferry journey time is about 30 minutes once the Ferry arrives at Messina, you can travel by train to along the North West Coast and along the East Coast.
