I decided last minute to book a one-day Death Valley tour for my elderly parents, my two younger children (11 and 9 YOs) and myself. As I had never booked a guided tour before, I read all the reviews of the various tour groups, but ultimate..ly chose Bindlestiff Tours because of the private tour option for our family group of five and great reviews of their guides, which I realized would be the critical component in whether an 8-10 hour tour would be a fun and memorable trip (or a miserable one). This tour was the best decision I made for our vacation! Tour reps were considerate in selecting the right vehicle for our group (a comfortable minivan), finalizing the details, answering my many questions and accommodating some itinerary-related requests based upon what I read in the reviews. Joel Clark was our guide, and after our trip, I understood why a rep told me Joel is aka “Mr. Awesome.” As far as tour guides go, Joel's knowledge of the area was seemingly endless, answering all kinds of questions and imparting a wealth of information. When experiencing such breathtaking and awe-inspiring sights, your mind wanders to all kinds of topics, of which Joel was happy to participate in our eclectic discussions, even when I had to have him pause so that I could translate some things for my parents. Lunch was indeed delicious, as many commented in their reviews, and there was more than enough water provided for our group. We all will never forget the wonderful sights we saw that day. Spectacular scenery. Well organised. Friendly tour guide. You cover a lot of miles but get to see a variety of places. Don’t wear shorts if it is very windy - the sand hurts

Amazing tour!!! Death Valley is breathtaking. Bindlestiff Tours were very professional. John, our tour guide, had a great witty and knowledgeable personality making for an exciting and educational day trip from Vegas.

The best was all the stops inside the park. Great hints from the driver. He went above and beyond. The vehicle was in excellent condition with great air conditioning.
