I can’t recommend this tour enough! From the charming coastal towns in Puglia to the ferry ride across to Capri, every stop felt carefully thought out. I especially loved Taormina – the views of Mount Etna were something else. The inclu..ded lunches and dinners were tasty (the Palermo dinner was my favorite), and the hotel breakfasts were always a good start to the day. Our guide was knowledgeable but also fun, keeping the group engaged during long bus rides. It’s a lot of travel, but if you want to see a huge part of southern Italy in just over a week, this is the way to do it. Read full review
This is not a trip for those who want to sleep in! The itinerary is very full, which I personally loved because I didn’t want to miss anything. Sorrento was magical, and the ferry over to Sicily felt like stepping into a different world. ..The visit to the Roman Villa in Casale was fascinating – I’d never seen mosaics so well-preserved. Hotels were comfortable but not luxury, which is fine considering the price. I’d suggest bringing comfortable shoes because you’ll be walking a lot. Read full review
What stood out for me was the balance of coastal views and cultural sites. Brindisi and Sorrento were postcard perfect, while the cathedrals of Palermo and Monreale took my breath away. The bus rides were long at times, but comfortable, and.. the guide made the history feel alive rather than like a lecture. Hotels were clean and well located, though in Taormina the Wi-Fi was a bit patchy. Still, waking up to those views more than made up for it. Would recommend to anyone wanting a mix of relaxation and exploration. Read full review
I joined this tour solo and was a little nervous, but the group was friendly and the guide really made sure no one felt left out. Palermo was a highlight for me – both the cathedral and Monreale were stunning. The ferry to Capri was smoot..h, and we had enough time to explore and enjoy a gelato by the sea. Matera was another surprise gem; having lunch there felt like dining inside a living museum. I appreciated how seamless everything was, from transfers to ticket admissions. Read full review
