I'd been to mainland Italy before, but Sicily feels like a different world. The tour took us to places I'd never have found on my own. Walking through Agrigento’s Valley of the Temples felt like time travel. Then, just a day later, we were surrounded by steaming volcanic vents in Vulcano — wild contrast! Castelbuono was so authentic, with locals chatting in the piazza ..and bakeries full of almond pastries. The Aeolian boat rides were scenic and peaceful. I came home with hundreds of photos.
