This tour ticked all the boxes for me. The blend of Porto’s history, Douro Valley’s wines, and Lisbon’s charm was unbeatable. I especially appreciated the mix of small group activities with plenty of free time to explore. The transpor..t logistics were flawless – private transfers made everything easy, and the first-class train ride felt special. Our guide in Porto was simply fantastic; he made the tile art and cathedral stories come alive. The Sintra day trip was a dream – like stepping into a fairytale. Hotels were comfortable and very central, making it easy to enjoy evenings out. Overall, it was one of the smoothest and most enjoyable trips I’ve ever booked. Read full review
This tour blew me away. Porto was just gorgeous – São Bento station with its blue tiles is unforgettable. The Port wine tasting in Gaia was hands-down one of the highlights, and cruising on the Douro felt like stepping back in time. The ..Douro Valley scenery was breathtaking – the terraced vineyards go on forever. Our guide in Lisbon, Tiago, was knowledgeable but also fun, sharing little anecdotes that made history come alive. Hotels were modern and central, breakfasts were solid. The train transfer from Porto to Lisbon was seamless, first class really made it comfortable. Honestly, it felt like a perfectly balanced trip – enough structure but also time to explore on my own. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to see the best of Portugal without the stress of planning. Read full review
The overall trip was very well organized. I loved the wine tastings at Quinta da Roeda and the boat rides were just magical. Porto itself was a gem – loved the cathedral and the atmosphere. Lisbon was fascinating, especially the fado even..ing we stumbled into on our free day. My only complaint is that some parts felt a little rushed, like Sintra. The National Palace was amazing but we barely had time to wander the town afterward. Hotels were comfortable, though my Lisbon hotel room was a bit noisy at night. Still, the staff everywhere were welcoming and helpful, and transfers were punctual which made everything stress-free. Read full review
I booked this hoping for a slower-paced tour, but I found myself a bit more tired than I expected. The Douro Valley day was fantastic, the vineyard visit and lunch were excellent, and the landscapes alone were worth the trip. However, Lisbo..n’s guided city tour was too short and too surface-level. The free day in Lisbon was nice, but I wish the guided part included more hidden spots. Accommodation was fine but not truly 4-star in Porto. Also, I felt communication wasn’t always clear about meeting points. Don’t get me wrong – Portugal is beautiful, and I’m glad I went, but I think this tour suits more energetic travelers who don’t mind a busier pace. Read full review
