From start to finish, this tour was absolutely magical. The pick-up at Fiumicino airport went smoothly, and the hotels in Rome, Florence, and Venice all felt properly 4-star—clean, comfortable, and in good locations. Florence was my favor..ite stop, especially seeing the Duomo up close with our local guide who was a total expert in Renaissance history. Venice was equally unforgettable with the walking tour in Piazza San Marco followed by spritz and cicchetti—it felt so authentically Italian. The motorcoach rides were comfortable, and I loved the Tuscan countryside views between cities. The itinerary was busy but very well organized, leaving enough time for some personal wandering. The Vatican "skip the line" pass saved us hours, which was priceless! I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see the highlights of Italy in just over a week without stressing about the logistics. Read full review
This trip packed so much into 8 days and somehow never felt overwhelming. The airport transfer was seamless, which is always a relief when arriving in Rome after a long flight. The guides were top-notch, balancing history with local stories.. that brought the cities alive. I especially loved Siena and Padua, two places I never would have visited on my own. The bus rides were scenic and restful, the meals included were high quality (especially the Tuscan lunch with wine!), and the hotels were very comfortable. Ending the trip with a Vatican Museums skip-the-line tour was the perfect finale. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience Italy’s highlights without the stress of planning everything myself. Read full review
I booked this 8-day discovery trip to cover as much of Italy as possible, and in that sense, it delivered! Siena’s main square, the Palio, was gorgeous, and I finally got to see the Basilica di San Petronio in Bologna. The guides were fri..endly, and the Hop-On Hop-Off in Rome was a fun bonus. That said, some days felt a bit rushed—especially Florence. I would’ve loved more free time around Piazza della Signoria. The bus rides were comfortable, but a couple of days had a lot of driving, which was tiring. Still, the food experiences in Tuscany and Venice made up for it, and the included spritz tasting was a fun touch! Read full review
I had high hopes for this tour, and while parts were wonderful, there were definitely some downsides. First the good: Assisi and Montepulciano were absolute gems, and the Vatican "skip the line" entry was worth every penny. Our guide in Ven..ice was funny and knowledgeable, and I really enjoyed the cicchetti tasting. On the downside, one of the hotels in Florence wasn’t up to standard—it was noisy at night and not very central. Also, some of the lunches felt rushed, and I wished there were more chances to explore restaurants independently. The coach was comfortable, but we had a couple of delays getting from city to city. Overall, a decent tour, but I expected a bit more polish given the price. Read full review
