John was an amazing tour guide. I am a city girl. Going hiking in our Zion National park was outside my comfort zone. The best experience was the first day, at the end of the Zion Narrows Riverside Walk hike eating my turkey sandwich and wa..tching the people explore the River, I was finally able to relax and begin my vacation. Jon reassured me each time the hikes were easy. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Zion National Park, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon. The experience of going to two Navajo Reservations for the first time—such a powerful experience. The land, the stories, the people—so much history and culture. Grateful for the chance to learn and listen stories from the Navajo tour Guide at Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon. At Grand Canyon for round two—still blows my mind. No photo ever does it justice. April is the perfect time to go to the Southwest. Only one day which was under 40 degrees. The seven people on the trip were amazing. Fantastic - better than I imagined! Our enthusiastic tour guide, John, knew all the insider ins and outs of the beautiful sights we stopped at. He played great music during our drive, brought us together as a group, managed all logistics, s..cheduled our rest stop breaks (including some un-scheduled bathroom breaks), and overall ensured the trip was everything we wanted. Our guide Craig Rethman was the best. He had our trip planned out to offer us the most time to spend in each park. He was knowledgeable on the areas we went to pointing out plants, trees, what wildlife was common in each area as well as the.. names of the mountains,canyons and how each of them was formed.
