Myself and my ""new"" husband (we are on our honeymoon) - spent 1 month in Alaska - so we decided to do some independent travel, a group tour and some backcountry hiking. This was the last leg of our adventure - and it was really fun!! We l..oved the drive down from Anchorage - wow, so beautiful! Our guide gave great commentary - and we made lots of fun picture stops along the way and had sandwiches by a pretty waterfall. We have never done much group travel, so it was really nice for someone else to take the reigns and handle the details - we just showed up with our backpacks - and listened to the packing list. So many activities in 4 days - and all well organized. Weather (as I am sure everyone knows) in AK can be wild - so just being patient and easy going is the key to success. We had fun at camp - great location. Great camping equipment - tent durability and good sleeping mats. Making group meals in the wind is
challenging - but definitely adds to the adventure. We had fun travel mates too - from Asia and Canada.Great group - and our guide, Marie, was hilarious. Fantastic explanations of the glaciation and mountain
formations - and we had awesome local guides too on the boat ride and Kayak tour. We will definitely travel with this tour agency again - maybe next time in Canada - since they do tours there also! Thank
you, Tours4fun!Read full review
Anywhere that makes ice cream as delicious as this from flowers - is a PRIZE in my book. Super fun experience, and lots of tasty food. I traveled with 2 friends - and ate lots of new food, new ice cream flavors - had delicious coffee (yes, ..AK has awesome coffee), drank tasty beers at
the breweries - and of course relished the sites this awesome state has. This was a great tour company - thank you, Tours4fun. We loved the camping. My favorite part was Denali - great hikes, and sites. And we were lucky to see Denali in full! Camp nights were fun, and cooking
outside is always an adventure. Our guide, Joe, was really friendly and helpful - thank you for your insights to this beautiful state. We will definitely be back to Alaska - so much to see!Read full review
I have traveled with Tours4fun before - in the lower 48 - visiting the Utah NP's and Grand Canyon. So cool to see them expanding! Once I saw Alaska tours on the site - I knew I had to come back and travel with them again. This tour is short.. - but it really includes a lot - and you see a lot. I loved the idea to stay in one location for 4 days - and the camp location they have is great! Happy I listened to the packing list and had my gortex rain gear - this helps, since Alaska weather is crazy at times. The camp meals were fun to cook - and looking out at the bay is fantastic, otters swim right up the shore as you are cooking - so cute! The scenic boat tour was great - we saw whales, glaciers, puffins (my fave) and had a ""glacierita"" - that's a margarita made from the glacier ice! The town is really cute - and Alaska surprisingly had amazing coffee! Thank you to Tours4fun and our guide, Marie - really fantastic.Read full review
First time to Alaska with the family - myself, my wife and our 3 kids. Super fun experience for everyone. A huge accolade to this company for the care put into the trip. We loved meeting travelers from all around the globe - we had a full g..roup of 12 on this tour. Our "young adults"
loved everything, especially the camping. This trip is definitely not a luxury experience - but way more fun than staying in fancy hotels! Setting up tents, cooking outside, hiking to glaciers, white water rafting in Denali, ice hiking in Kenniccott! Great explanation of the history - and great music in the van that went along with the places we visited. Mosquito bug net came in handy, and eye masks for sleeping - a plus! This was one of the last family trips before all the kids are
all in college - so it was good to have the family all together and integrate them into traveling with others. Our guide, Charlie, did a great job at connecting with everyone, especially my boys.
Thank you, Tours4fun and Charlie, for this trip of a lifetime!Read full review
Tours4fun is a company I am familiar with - so it was a no-brainer to travel with them again, thanks for launching Alaska tours! Yippie! This is my 3rd tour with them, I first traveled with them in 2012 - then again 2016 and now. Seeing som..e of Alaska's National Parks has been on my
bucket list for quite some time. Did not disappoint! A really well-thought-out itinerary, not too rushed but also packed with adventure. I traveled solo - and had a nice group to chat with. Our guide was awesome - and balanced everyone's needs - and requests. I really loved Valdez -
granted we had good weather, as I hear this place can be very rainy. A fun kayak trip out to Shoup Bay to see the glacier. Very cool having otters swim right up next to you. I love the locals also in AK - really friendly and always wanting to have a chat - super fun atmosphere. Thank
you Tours4fun for another epic journey. I will be back for more tours you launch!Read full review
I cannot recommend this trip enough. It was the best I've ever been on! Tours4fun took us to so many places and saw so much and yet, it didn't feel rushed at all. The magnitude of National and State parks that we covered was remarkable, and.. I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in each. The group was very small- only 6 people. As a solo traveler, this was perfect because it allowed us to get to know each other and the friendly vibes felt so natural (no loneliness here!) Besides the sights, the obvious best thing about this trip was our guide, Joseph. He was the perfect balance of knowledgeable and fun, always making every effort to answer our questions, provide his own anecdotes and accommodate any of our special requests or preferences. Joseph is incredible and a true professional. The accomodation throughout the trip was excellent- all my needs were met and exceeded. Most hotels provided breakfast and, in the few incidences that they didn't, readily accessible alternatives were available. At first, I was concerned that picnic lunches would reduce the amount of time that we had to explore the sights. This wasn't the case at
all. Joseph ensured that all lunches were well-catered and smoothly run. Originally, I'd planned to organize and self-navigate a trip similar to this all by myself. I am extremely glad that this plan didn't work
out. Tours4fun is an amazing company. If you are on the fence about booking this trip, don't be! You, like me, won't regret it for a single second.Read full review
I did the tour end of March amazing trip. A little colder than I expected but I still had an awesome and fabulous time. I regretted I did not take the helicopter tour for the Grand canyon. Zion is also beautiful do anticipate the shuttle bu..s ride that theres a lot people and could take you up more time as theres very long line up. Antelope canyon was my highlight for this tour its incredibly beautiful. Take the Navajo
guided tour- you won't regret it. Hogan was very patient with us and very informative. Highly recommended.Read full review
Sooooo much fun! From the beginning of booking - this was a great experience. Thank you,Tours4fun and our guide - Marie, for a fantastic trip. Lots of organization goes behind these tours - and this company does a great job. SO many cool sp..ots to see - definitely worth going to
Alaska for a longer amount of time - if you can. We unfortunately didn't get to see Denali, she was hiding. But we saw Grizzly Bears! Super neat. The park bus ride was a great-included activity to this trip. Camping in McCarthy was fascinating and different than I expected. So remote and beautiful. Bring good quality gortex rain gear (artery'x) - and listen to the packing list they provide. I loved the commentary all throughout the tour - and interesting gold mining stories our guide told. Native history and exhibits are very well-preserved as well - which we learned about in each location. So great to see this state is really protecting its past, present and future - for travelers to learn about. Thank you Tours4fun for a fantastic trip. We will certainly book with you again in the lower 48 next time!Read full review
We just returned from 3 weeks in Alaska - myself and my husband. We traveled with Tours4fun in 2015 - so we were excited to see them doing tours in AK now, too. We went to the Utah parks with them the first time and now we went north. Thank..s again for another fantastic trip - this one
for sure brought a lot of adventure and A LOT of sunlight, wow, super cool. Bring your eye mask for camping!. We liked the starting hotel recommendation (Aloft) - we stayed here for 3 nights to see the sites around ANC. This state is certainly impressive - with towering mountains, glaciers, bears, white water, and world-class fishing. So happy we booked a long tour to see a bunch in a short amount of time. Good itinerary - next time we will add on the Seward portion, too. This is definitely not our last time coming to AK. The passion that the guides exude for this special region is palpable - so happy to have come and gone on a tour. Thank you, Tours4fun for another stellar trip.Read full review
Our 3 day tour with Tours4fun Tours called the ‘National Parks Winter Tour’. Only 6 of us in the group. Brilliant tour which gave us plenty of quality time at each of the highlight locations. Our tour guide Joel
had great in depth know..ledge of each site and Native American culture and the history of this area of the country which we would have totally missed on our own. Logistics, bookings with local guides, bathroom
and snack stops were also perfectly timed. We were also very happy with the standard of accommodation which was spacious and very comfortable after a long day. Last but not least the scenery in this part of
the country is spectacular.Read full review

This trip is so beautiful. I went on this winter trip, hoping to see some snow. But, the weather was just too beautiful to have snow. We saw so many things in a short amount of time, but it was enough to get a taste
of the area and do some.. hiking and exploring in each of the places we visited. Joel did an awesome job driving us to everywhere, giving us historical information, and making sure we had what we needed to be
comfortable. There were plenty of stops along the drive and plenty of good food options.Read full review
If you are looking for a trip that ticks lots of boxes - this is IT!!! Super fun. This tour really mixes it up with camping, a few lodge nights - lots of inclusions and places to see. My Favorite was McCarthy/Wrangells/Kennicott. WOW-camp r..ight up the Kenniccott river on the side of a glacial plain. Really fun activities in McCarthy - optional and included. Do the Scenic Flight if you have the chance! The MaClaren Lodge was super cool too! Really remote and beautiful. We were lucky enough to see Denali for a glimpse on day 1 ! I will definitely travel again with this Tours4fun again -organized, fun, knowledgeable. Thank you!Read full review

Great adventure trip. Guide Joseph is personable and attentive to the needs and quirks of each traveler. His extensive knowledge of the region's geology, history, animals and plant life enhanced our incredible trip. He gave us recommendatio..ns for hikes commensurate with individual abilities in Zion and Bryce Canyon national Parks. Joseph led hikes in the spectacular Arches and Canyonlands National Parks where we spent 2 nights in Moab, Utah. Some of our group chose to relax in Moab on the second day, while the rest of the group hiked different trails for more amazing views. Next were the stunning views of Monument Valley and Navajo Nation followed by a snowy Grand Canyon. Optional side trips: Antelope Canyon should not be missed. The Navajo taco dinner was tasty and informative. The hummer tour was unremarkable.Unfortunately, weather grounded the Grand Canyon helicopters.Read full review
Kaitlyn took such great care of us! We saw much more of Death Valley than we could've in a day trip on our own. This was absolutely worth the price to sit back, enjoy the drive, and have everything taken care of. We'll definitely use this c..ompany again, next time for a longer trip.Read full review
