I can see why Philadelphia is known as the City of Brotherly Love, everyone was very nice and friendly especially when they found out that I was visiting from Australia with my family. We just loved seeing monuments that we had previously o..nly seen in famous Hollywood movies- monuments such as the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. My mom just loved the United States Mint, as she is an international coin collector. Washington, D.C. was next and it was a fabulous capital city with so much to see and do! My family would like to come back to Washington next year because we could stay there for over a week in order to see all the monuments etc. Our guide was funny and liked our Australian accents, although we think that Americans are the ones with accents. Niagara Falls was incredible, next time I would like to see it from the Canadian side as well, but that will have to wait. The Hershey?s Chocolate Factory was divine! Boston was a nice city too and I was happy to see Harvard University. And what can we say about New York? It truly is the city that never sleeps. We found the tour to be exciting, fun and we would book with you again. Read full review
For people who are looking to book a tour that is full of different places to visit, this is a tour that I recommend. For 5 days, you visit 7 major cities on the northern East Coast and the planning is all taken care of. We also didn't have.. to worry about the hotels, which are not bad either, 3 star or higher (Let's be honest, for the deal we were getting, the hotels are better than what we would be willing to pay for if we planned this trip on our own). The tour was diverse with all sorts of groups. We had a good time enjoying the optional tours with new found friends. Other details that might matter is that this tour is in English and Chinese. We did eat at a couple of Chinese restaurants, but we had other choices. There were food courts and fast food restaurants. We didn't have to spend unnecessary money by dining at fancy restaurants. Overall, we visited all the places that we wanted to see within the timeline we had and got a great deal. With this tour I found out where I want to go back to visit and where I didn't, without spending extra money. Read full review
