Q: hi our family would like to join the tour on 30/12/09 but i have a few questions. Do you have a public holiday for new year and how will this effect the tour for that day will the attraction be open and also we are from Queensland Aust. where the weather is mild will the winter weather effect the tour and our ability to enjoy it. thanks

2009-05-23 12:47:06 Hi Alanna: The weather will be quite cold and certain tours may not be available due to the weather such as the "Mail of the Mist" ride in Niagara Falls. New Year's Day is a public holiday, but the tour should run as usual minus some of the optional tours, despite the colder weather. Thank you for your inquiry. If this tour does not run into traffic on the way to Niagara Falls, the tour guide will consider trying to accommodate with a night viewing of the falls. This tour does not include admission fees, nor does it include the Cave of the Winds tour. This tour may not have time to allow guests to participate in additional activities, as the schedule is fairly tight. This tour visits the falls at night on Day 1 and on Day 2 allows visitors time to participate on the Maid of the Mist including limited free time. The tour is conducted bilingually in English and Chinese.
